Quick Tips for Curb Appeal
Curb appeal, attracting people to your home from the outside in, may require expensive modifications. Or does it? Before going through a major expense try these quick tips to improve your home's curb appeal.
When you know there are buyers coming and if it is cold outside, light your fireplace, (provided it doesn't smoke). The image of a warm fire is and the smell of a fresh fireplace is appealing.
Make sure all the patio furniture, outdoor toys are clean and in good shape, through it out if it's broken. This includes the barbeque!
Hose off the vinyl siding to remove excess dirt and dust.
Trim up any of the grass, trees, shrubs around the front of the house. Let the windows show through. Sweep the walk and trim up the edges.
Put yellow flowers near the front entry. If you don't have time or space to plant, use a flower bucket. Yellow is bright and friendly, it draws the eyes to the home.
These are just a few quick ideas that won't take much time or money and will start to attract your buyer before they get inside the house.
